// Who we are

Business IT Support, One Job at a Time

IT support in Surrey shouldn’t mean signing a three-year contract to get a printer fixed. Most businesses need someone to call when something breaks, who picks up, works out what’s actually wrong and fixes it properly. And when it’s time to add staff, move offices or replace the phone system, they need the same people to install it and set it up.

That’s us. We help offices, clinics, shops, trades and industrial companies across Surrey with all of their IT: troubleshooting email, computers, Wi-Fi and printers; installing networks, cabling, Wi-Fi and phone systems; and setting up computers, Microsoft 365 and backups. Remote help usually starts the same business day. When a job needs hands, a technician comes to you, and you know the price first.

Call 604-359-5284 and tell us what’s going on. Most problems are easier to explain than people expect.

Every Box in Your Office, Covered

Most IT problems sit where two things meet: a laptop and the Wi-Fi, a printer and the network, a phone system and the firewall. When one company installs the network and another set up the computers, problems fall between them.

We troubleshoot and install every part of a typical office, from the internet line and firewall to the last desk phone, so one team can follow a problem all the way to its cause.

Something Not Working? Start Here

A few safe checks fix a surprising number of problems, and the rest tell us exactly where to look. Pick the symptom.

01Email or Outlook isn’t working

Try this first

  1. Check whether email works in a web browser at outlook.office.com. If it does, the problem is Outlook on this computer, not your mailbox.
  2. Close Outlook completely and reopen it. If it keeps asking for a password, sign in once in the browser first.
  3. Ask a colleague whether theirs is working. If nobody’s is, it’s the service or the network.

Still not syncing, or messages bouncing? Call 604-359-5284 or see how we fix it.

02The Wi-Fi or internet keeps dropping

Try this first

  1. Check whether a wired computer or a phone on mobile data also loses the connection. That tells you if it’s the Wi-Fi or the internet line.
  2. Restart the modem first, wait two minutes, then the router or firewall. Only restart what you know how to.
  3. Note the time it drops and where you are in the office. Patterns help us find the cause.

Dropping every day, or only in some rooms? Call 604-359-5284 or see how we fix it.

03Nobody can print

Try this first

  1. Look at the printer’s screen for paper jams, low toner or an error code, and write the code down.
  2. Turn the printer off and on, then try printing a test page from its own menu.
  3. If the test page works but computers can’t print, the problem is the driver or the network address, not the printer.

Still nothing, or only one person can print? Call 604-359-5284 or see how we fix it.

04A computer is very slow

Try this first

  1. Restart it properly (Start → Restart, not just closing the lid). Many slow computers have been on for weeks.
  2. Check free disk space. Under 10% free slows everything down.
  3. Let pending Windows updates finish, then restart again.

Still slow, making noises or freezing? Call 604-359-5284 or see how we fix it.

05Someone can’t sign in

Try this first

  1. Check Caps Lock and the keyboard language, then try the password in a web browser.
  2. If the account says it’s locked, wait 15 minutes before trying again; repeated attempts extend the lock.
  3. If a new phone was set up, the multi-factor app may need re-registering by an administrator.

Still locked out, or a sign-in you don’t recognise? Call 604-359-5284 or see how we fix it.

Common Questions About IT Support

What does IT support actually do?

IT support keeps a business’s technology working: fixing problems with computers, email, Wi-Fi, printers and software, setting up new equipment and staff, and installing things like networks, phone systems and backups. Some businesses call when something breaks; others pay a monthly fee for ongoing support.

How much does IT support cost in Surrey?

Typical Surrey rates are $100–$150 an hour for remote support and $125–$185 an hour onsite, with a one-hour minimum for visits. Prepaid blocks of hours usually save 10–15%, and ongoing monthly plans run $95–$250 per user. Our cost guide breaks it down.

Do I need a contract or monthly plan?

No. You can book a single job and pay for that job. If you find you need us often, we’ll show you whether block hours or a monthly plan would cost less, and you decide.

How quickly can you help?

Most requests are picked up the same business day, and many problems are fixed remotely during the first call. Onsite visits across Surrey are usually booked for the same or next business day, depending on the job.

Do you offer 24/7 IT support?

No. We work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and we’d rather say so than promise round-the-clock cover we don’t provide. Installs, upgrades and moves can be scheduled for evenings and weekends in advance.

Do you fix home computers or phones?

No. We only support businesses. That keeps our technicians focused on business systems such as Microsoft 365, networks, shared data and phone systems.
